Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Academy
"Striving for perfection, accepting excellence"

Central Pennsylvania is blessed with many young baseball players who possess above average ability. Unfortunately, up until now there has not been a baseball training program specifically designed to help these talented young players reach their full potential. The truth is, without consistent and advanced trainings these players will never become the players they were born to be. That is why a group of passionate coaches have gotten together to create the Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Academy. In short, these coaches have a burning desire to help as many players as possible reach their full potential.

What is the Altoona Curve Baseball Academy?
The Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Academy is an exciting new baseball training program designed to teach fundamentals, as well as advanced techniques for all positions. The purpose of the academy is to help young players who live in Pennsylvania to develop their God given talents to the fullest extent. Each player will be trained by experienced and passionate instructors who will teach techniques currently being taught in college and professional level. In addition to the baseball training the instructors will also strongly emphasize character, dedication, team play, and discipline. Finally, participation in the program will expose each player to the highest level of competition available through the Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Tournament team. Participation in the program will not guarantee a spot on the Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Tournament team.
Who is it for?
First and foremost, the program is for players who love baseball and aspire to be the best they can be. Players must be coachable and show a willingness to listen, learn, and implement the techniques they are taught. The program is a competitive program, meaning tryouts will be held to determine which players will be selected for the program. Approximately 30 players from each two age groups (18u and 15u) will be chosen to participate in the Altoona Curve Junior Baseball Academy. Players will be selected based on attitude, abilities, coachability, and commitment.
